Our Story

Our Story

Our story started a long time ago with the president of Chez Mayah, Willy. He was the oldest of five siblings. As a teenager, he was tasked of preparing foods for his younger siblings. His beloved grandmother had him shadowed her in the kitchen to learn her many recipes and dishes. This created a passion for him to cook and serve. 

After migrating to the U.S, Willy's first career opportunity was none other than the food industry as a restaurant cook. He excelled and got his certification as a culinary manager. During his career, Willy became a traveling chef for a major restaurant chain to open new stores in several states. 

After a switch in career in the last decade, Willy moved back to his old South Florida home. He continued to work on his passion as a cook catering for private parties, meal prep and small events. Hence, Chez Mayah was launched!
